OKR

Objectives and Key Results — a goal-setting framework used to align teams.

Full Definition

OKR (Objectives and Key Results) is a goal-setting framework used by organizations to define ambitious goals (Objectives) and track measurable outcomes (Key Results) that indicate progress toward those goals. Popularized by Intel and later by Google, OKRs are set at company, team, and individual levels and typically reviewed on a quarterly basis. Performance management software enables real-time OKR tracking, alignment visualization, and progress reporting.
