What it actually costs
Price comparison, with the working shown
HRMZY charges one flat fee per company. Most HR platforms charge per employee per month, so the gap widens as you grow. Every competitor figure below was read from that vendor’s own pricing page on the date shown — where a vendor does not publish a rate, the table says so.
Basis: published list price, billed monthly, in USD — applied to every row including HRMZY. Where a vendor only headlines an annual-commitment rate it is marked in the row. Several vendors are cheaper on annual billing (HRMZY yearly saves 17%; Zoho People from $1.25/user; Zoho One from $37/employee).
1. HR software only
HRMZY against HR point tools. These plans cover core HR; most charge per seat, so they start cheaper and cross over as you grow.
- Zoho People: Five tiers published: Essential HR $1.50, Professional $2.50, Premium $3.50, Enterprise $5.00 per user/month billed monthly ($1.25 / $2 / $3 / $4.50 billed annually). A free tier exists with limits.
- Gusto: Three tiers published: Simple $49/mo + $6/person, Plus $80/mo + $12/person, Premium $180/mo + $22/person.
- BambooHR: Core $10, Pro $17, Elite $25 per employee/month above 25 employees. At 25 employees or fewer BambooHR charges a flat rate starting at $250/month — which is why it looks expensive on small teams. The page states automatic volume discounts apply above that, but does not publish the discounted rate.
- Personio: Tier names published; pricing is quote-only — "to get a custom quote, book a demo".
- Workday: No public pricing page; enterprise quote and implementation partner only.
- Not like-for-like on scope. The "what the price includes" column is the point: the cheaper per-seat plans above cover core HR only, and payroll is an add-on or a separate product. For a scope-matched comparison see the all-in-one table below.

Zoho People Essential HR costs less than HRMZY at 1–16 employees and 21–53 employees — HRMZY's plan caps are why the gap opens twice. From about 54 employees up, flat pricing pulls away: at 200 employees HRMZY is $80 a month against $300–$2,000 for the publicly-priced HR tools, before add-ons.
2. All-in-one platforms — matched scope
HRMZY against suites that, like HRMZY, bundle HR with CRM, projects and invoicing. This is the like-for-like comparison — and the last column is there because these suites bundle a great deal HRMZY does not.

- Odoo: Standard is US$11.20 per user/month billed monthly, or US$8.95 billed yearly; Custom is US$13.60 yearly. Two things worth knowing: Odoo geo-prices — the rate shown depends on the country its pricelist puts you in, and it is not the same everywhere — and the headline figure is an introductory rate that renews higher (the page footnote reads "the discount is valid for 12 months"). Check the rate for your own country before comparing.
- Zoho One: Two mutually exclusive models. All Employee: $45/employee/month billed monthly ($37 billed annually), and you must licence everyone on payroll. Flexible User: $105/user/month billed monthly ($90 annually), licence only active users — so its real cost depends on what share of your headcount uses it, and it is not a single number.
- Rippling: The pricing page is a quote request form: it asks for headcount and services and publishes no rate.

For the categories HRMZY covers — HR, payroll, projects, invoicing and CRM — a matched all-in-one suite costs Odoo at $560 and Zoho One at $2,250 at 50 employees, against HRMZY's $80. The suites bundle a great deal besides; if you need marketing automation, inventory or IT device management, price them on the full bundle rather than on this row.
3. Or six separate tools
What it costs to assemble the categories HRMZY covers from separate products. This is what “replaces 6 tools” means, priced.
Show the six-tool breakdown
- How these were chosen. One widely-used, publicly-priced tool per category, at its entry or mid tier — named in each row so you can check it. A buyer could assemble a cheaper stack with different choices, or a dearer one. The point is not that this exact basket is the only option; it is that six subscriptions cost six subscriptions.
- Seats, not headcount. Role-specific tools are priced for the people who actually use them — CRM at a sales team rather than the whole company. Costing every tool at full headcount would roughly double this total at 200 people, and would not be how anyone buys. The assumption is printed in every row; the full-headcount figure is shown underneath so you can see the difference and pick your own.
- Annual commitment. Asana and Pipedrive headline rates that require paying for a year up front; both cost more month-to-month. Rows are marked.

At 50 employees the six tools above list at $1,893 a month combined — licensing each for the people who actually use it, so CRM is priced at a sales team rather than the whole company — against $80 for HRMZY. That is what "replaces 6 tools" means in practice. Choose different tools or different seat counts and you will get a different number; the arithmetic is shown so you can.
